If Britain leaves the EU without arranging a treaty for State pension increases, your pension will be frozen at the date of leaving. There are only 16 countries outside of the EU where the United Kingdom pays these increases and the UK has not signed any new treaties for outside the EU since 1981. If you want to improve your chances of keeping them, sign and share.
The deadline for this petition is January 2017.
Depending on what treaties are agreed for Britain’s exit from the EU, some British pensioners living in the EU may lose their annual State pension increases. We call upon the Government of the United Kingdom to commit to maintaining these increases for all British pensioners living in the EU.
